Programme Curriculum:
1. PASTORAL LEADERSHIP:
Building foundational leadership skills for ministry, focusing on strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving.
2. PASTORAL ORDINATION AND MINISTERIAL PRACTICE:
Understanding the biblical qualifications for pastoral ministry and ordination, the responsibilities and ethics of ordained ministers and the practical conduct expected of ministers in effective Christian service.
3. PASTORAL CARE & COUNSELING:
Learning to care for and counsel congregation members with empathy,
compassion, and wisdom.
4. BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION:
Gaining skills in interpreting Scripture accurately, considering historical context, literary genres, and cultural backgrounds.
5. HOMILETICS & BIBLICAL PREACHING:
Developing effective sermon delivery skills, including sermon preparation,
delivery, and communication.
6. PASTORAL MANAGEMENT:
Acquiring practical management skills for pastoral settings, including time
management, prioritization, and delegation.
7. CHURCH FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
Mastering financial stewardship in the church, including budgeting, financial planning, and accountability.
8. INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN SERVICE:
Understanding the foundations of service in a Christian context, including servant leadership, humility, and compassion.
9. INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY :
Learning systematic methods of studying Scripture through observation, interpretation, and application to discover and communicate the intended meaning of the biblical text.
10. INTRODUCTION TO PASTORAL MINISTRY:
Understanding the biblical foundation, divine calling, and core purpose of pastoral ministry, the pastor’s identity as a shepherd and steward of God’s flock, and the essential responsibilities of feeding, leading, and guarding the church for effective Christian service.
